How To Access

Drop in sessions are open access for people living with or affected by HIV & AIDS – please call and make an appointment if it is your first visit. Workers by appointment only please.

Wheelchair access. Outreach to home and hospital possible. Signer can be arranged by appointment.

EHC is provided free of charge at the pharmacies listed below which means that one or more members of staff have attended special training so that they can provide this free service. This means that it’s very important that you CHECK FIRST – perhaps give them a call before you go incase the trained pharmacist is not there because if they’re not around you may have to pay up to £25 for EHC.

The centre offers support to the LGB community around issues such as sexuality, coming out, sexual health, HIV & STI’s, relationships, Homophobia & other general health issues to name a few. We facilitate a number of specialist community support groups/ drop ins (such as HIV positive men’s group, youth groups, parents & carers and a group for LGB people who have learning difficulties) & training workshops, as well as one to one support, counselling & outreach service.

G Space: a weekly group for LGB young people aged between 13 and 19 years. This group is a partnership with Halton youth service.

We also have a weekly youth group in St Helens that meets once a week. The group is called V Spice. The group is for LGB young people aged between 13 and 21. the group is a partnership with St Helens Youth Service and Teenage Pregnancy. The contact number is 07879 425 304.

Training: we offer various tailor made workshops and training sessions exploring issues of HIV/ STI, diversity, bullying, drugs and alcohol. These have been delivered in schools, youth settings, Police and other professional organisations. Training can be delivered to both clients and professionals.

One to one support: Advice and support to LGB people, their families/ carers and peers. Supporting them in issues around their sexuality, sexual health, relationships and general wellbeing.

Staff can provide individuals with good clear information including how to avoid harm and reduce, stop or stay off drugs.
