The Health Improvement Team provide a wide range of tailor-made services to the communities of Halton & St Helens.
The team are part of the NHS, (Halton & St Helens), working within Community Health Services.
Halton Team are based in Midwood House, Widnes and the St Helens Team are based at Cowley Hill & Bold Miners, St Helens.
All projects are based around the needs of the local population. These projects include;
Sexual Health:
- Delivery of a Sexual Health course accredited by the Open College Network – available to front line staff in Halton & St Helens.
- Workforce development.
- Working in partnership with other organisations.
- Producing resources (including this website).
- Community consultation.
- GP Free Condom Scheme.
- Local sexual health campaigns and events.
- Fund Armistead Sexual Health Outreach.
